RAW Wrestler Changes Her Look At Last Night’s RAW Taping

• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (December 29, 1991) – WWF MSG House Show

On this day in Pro Wrestling history on December 29, 1991, the World Wrestling Federation held a televised house show in the world’s most famous arena, Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York.

This event featured one of the few matches between Hulk Hogan & Ric Flair, that were booked as a test run for their planned WrestleMania 8 main event match, that ended up not happening.

Here are the results from that night:

– The British Bulldog defeated The Berzerker

– Handicap Flag: Sgt. Slaughter defeated Colonel Mustafa & General Adnan

– Hercules defeated Greg Valentine

– The Nasty Boys defeated The Bushwhackers

– Skinner defeated Jim Powers

– Chris Walker defeated The Brooklyn Brawler

– Virgil defeated Repo Man via DQ

– WWF Intercontinental Title: Bret Hart (C) wrestled Ted DiBiase to a time limit draw

– Hulk Hogan defeated Ric Flair via count-out

• RAW Wrestler Changes Her Look At Last Night’s RAW Taping

As we noted before, WWE taped the December 31st edition of RAW last night in Detroit, Michigan.

The Riott Squad competed in a 6 woman tag team match and it should be noted that the leader of the Riott Squad, Ruby Riott, changed her look by cutting her hair short.

Steel Cage Match: Drew McIntyre def. Dolph Ziggler (McIntyre won the match after nailing 2 Claymore Kicks on Ziggler. Ziggler began yelling from the ring after the match and McIntyre returned to the ring. McIntyre then entered the ring with a Steel Chair and put Ziggler’s head between the Chair and nailed another Claymore Kick. McIntyre then left, but came back once again to nail a 4th Claymore Kick)

– Seth Rollins appears and calls out Dean Ambrose for an Intercontinental Championship rematch. Instead of Ambrose, Triple H comes out and says wrestlers will no longer get automatic Title rematches. HHH then says he misses the ‘Old Seth Rollins’ and books Seth Rollins vs. Bobby Lashley for tonight.

Battle Royal To Crown #1 Contender For The Intercontinental Championship: Apollo Crews def. Finn Balor, Zack Ryder, Titus O’Neil, Curt Hawkins, Kalisto, Lince Dorado, Gran Metalik, Mojo Rawley, Konnor, Viktor, Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel, No Way Jose and Baron Corbin

– Natalya announces during a backstage segment that she’s entering the Women’s Royal Rumble 2019 match.

– Elias sings a song on Baron Corbin losing his General Manager job and then they had a brawl. The brawl ended with Corbin retreating.

– Bayley, Sasha Banks & Ember Moon def. The Riott Squad

– Bobby Lashley def. Seth Rollins via DQ when Rollins launched a brutal assault on Lashley with a Steel Chair. Rollins also attacked Lio Rush with a Steel Chair and hit the Stomp on Rush. Triple H gets impressed by Rollins’ actions.

3 On 2 Handicap Match: Jinder Mahal & The Singh Brothers def. Heath Slater & Rhyno

Intercontinental Championship Match: Dean Ambrose (c) def. Apollo Crews to retain the Title.

– RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey & Natalya def. Nia Jax & Tamina Snuka

The following was announced for the first edition of RAW for 2019 (January 7, 2019):

– Universal Champion Brock Lesnar returns

– 16 Time WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena returns

– #1 Contender Braun Strowman returns

RAW Tag Team Championship Match: Bobby Roode & Chad Gable (c) vs. The Revival
