On this day in Pro Wrestling history on May 17, 1992, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired ‘WCW WrestleWar 1992’ LIVE on PPV from the Jacksonville Memorial Coliseum in Jacksonville, Florida.

This pay-per-view featured one of WCW’s very own creations, the famous ‘WarGames’ match, as the main event’s stipulation.

This was the final out of a total of 4 WrestleWar PPVs that aired between 1989 and 1992.

• RAW Wrestler Injured At WrestleMania Backlash

At last night’s WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view, The Miz faced Damian Priest in a Lumberjack Match (with Zombies were Lumberjacks) and lost.

According to the Wrestling Observer, Miz suffered a knee injury during this match.

There’s no information available on the severity of the injury as of now, but it should be noted that Miz didn’t appear on tonight’s episode of RAW.

On RAW, John Morrison (Miz’s tag team partner) faced Priest in a Lumberjack Match (with normal wrestlers as Lumberjacks) and lost.
