• Tyler Bate has been sidelined for months due to a significant injury sustained during his last match. Bate teamed with Pete Dunne in the summer of 2024 to defeat Hank & Tank in NXT. Shortly after, Michael Cole announced on Monday Night RAW that Bate was out of action due to injury.
In July, Bate confirmed via Instagram that he had suffered a severe injury during the match, tearing his left pectoral major and tendon off the bone. He underwent surgery and has been dedicated to his rehabilitation ever since.
According to PWInsider, Bate is now nearing a return to in-ring competition. The report states he is “extremely close” to being medically cleared and is expected to rejoin the Monday Night RAW roster upon clearance.

• Former WWE wrestler Odyssey Jones (real name Omari Palmer) has provided further clarity regarding the domestic violence allegations that reportedly played a role in his WWE release in 2024. Recent developments shed light on legal actions he has taken to address the situation.
Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Post Wrestling reported that Palmer was granted an order of protection against his ex-partner in September 2024. According to court documents, Palmer alleged he was the victim of escalating harassment and threats from his former partner, stemming from an incident during a May 2024 cruise, where he claims his ex-partner physically attacked him while intoxicated.
Palmer’s legal petition described his ex-partner’s behavior as increasingly aggressive, leading him to feel in “imminent danger.” He also cited another alleged incident in December 2023 at a hotel where his ex-partner, uninvited, confronted and attacked him in front of witnesses, including a friend.
A Florida court granted Palmer a temporary injunction for protection against dating violence in September 2024. The order has since been extended twice, with the most recent extension on January 6, 2025, ensuring protections remain in place for the next three years. The court order prohibits any contact or proximity between Palmer and the individual named in the petition.
No criminal charges or arrests have been reported in connection with these allegations, and the court documents do not contain statements from Palmer’s ex-partner. With legal protections secured, Palmer aims to move forward as he continues to deal with the aftermath of the allegations and his WWE release.
