• RAW Wrestler Says 2018 Was The Worst Year Of His Career – Needs One Chance To Become World Champion
2018 turned out to be a bad year for former Intercontinental Champion Zack Ryder.
Ryder, who is currently a part of RAW, recently noted on Twitter that he didn’t have a single match on WWE’s Flagship show in 2018, but he’s still optimistic and ready.
Below is what Ryder tweeted:
I haven’t had 1 match on Monday Night Raw in 2018 yet. 1 more Raw left…#AlwayzReady #StillHere

Former WWE Superstar & current IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion Cody Rhodes went on to motivate Ryder by tweeting the following:
Some perspective for you babe…several years ago the biggest star in the world(in MSG), the Rock was standing in the ring and the crowd was chanting “we want Ryder”…

Ryder finally got a match on RAW this week when he competed in a Fresh Start Battle Royal, but lost.
During a backstage interview after the match, Ryder noted that he’s been on the WWE main roster for 12 years and that 2018 was the worst year of his WWE career.
Ryder said he knows he has it all, but just needs one chance to prove it and if he gets that one chance then we might be looking at the next Grand Slam Champion (which would mean him winning a World Title as he has won all the other Titles to complete a Grand Slam).
