• Real Reason Behind Drew McIntyre Being Off WWE TV
At WrestleMania 39 Sunday, Drew McIntyre was pinned by Gunther in the Intercontinental Championship match, which also involved Sheamus.
After the match, McIntyre waved goodbye to the fans on Twitter:

After that, he missed the next two episodes of SmackDown. McIntyre did multiple interviews locally in Nebraska to promote last week’s SmackDown and was even on the promotional image of the show at The Pinnacle Bank Arena, but he still didn’t appear.
According to RSN, McIntyre got injured at WrestleMania 39. The Wrestling Observer added that McIntyre is going to miss a few more weeks of WWE programming.
As previously reported, 2023 is the final year of Drew’s current WWE contract and both sides are “far apart” on terms for a new deal.
