• Cause Of Bushwhacker Butch’s Death

Old School WWF Tag Team Legend Butch Miller of The Bushwhackers passed away late in the night from April 2nd to April 3rd, at the age of 78.

He became severely ill a few hours earlier and was brought to hospital, where he passed away in ICU.

He traveled from New Zealand to Los Angeles during the WrestleMania 39 weekend, to reunite with his long-time tag team partner Bushwhacker Luke Williams at WrestleCon.

According to the Wrestling Observer, Butch forgot to bring his water pills with him, which resulted in his blood pressure getting high and eventually resulting in his death:

“What happened was when he flew over from New Zealand, which is a long flight, he forgot to pack one of his water pills to keep his blood pressure down.

By the time he got in, it had been 4 days since he took his pills, because of the length of the trip and everything like that, and essentially that is what ended up killing him.

His blood pressure went sky-high. He was rushed to the hospital and he never recovered.

They were hopeful that he would recover and be able to attend WrestleCon, but after the first day he didn’t know who he was, he didn’t know his name anymore, and it went downhill fast.”
