As we noted before, Former WCW & NWA World Heavyweight Champion and Global Force Wrestling owner Jeff Jarrett returned to TNA Wrestling on this week’s episode of Impact Wrestling.
Jeff Jarrett announced that he will be a part of the King of the Mountain match this Sunday at TNA Slammiversary 2015. The other participants of the match are: Matt Hardy, Bobby Roode, Eric Young and Drew Galloway.
According to latest reports, Jeff Jarrett is expected to stay on TNA TV after Slammiversary and there’s some speculation that we might see a GFW Invasion angle soon. With current IWGP Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles turning down TNA Hall of Fame offer, it’s possible that Jeff Jarrett is inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame this year.
One of the main reasons behind Jeff Jarrett returning to TNA is that TNA would allow their talents to work Global Force Wrestling events. Magnus is already confirmed to be working the Global Force Wrestling TV tapings in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 24th. No other TNA wrestlers are advertised for the tapings as of now.
