• Real Reason Behind Paul Heyman Being Removed As The Executive Director Of RAW

After serving as the Executive Director of RAW for almost one year, Paul Heyman has been replaced by the Executive Director of SmackDown, Bruce Prichard, for the position.

Prichard replaced Eric Bischoff for the role on SmackDown last year, and he has now replaced Heyman for the role on RAW as well. The company has brought together the creative teams for both RAW and SmackDown, which will be led by Prichard.

Below is WWE’s statement:

“In an effort to streamline our creative writing process for television, we have consolidated both teams from RAW and SmackDown into one group, led by Bruce Prichard. Paul Heyman will concentrate on his role as an in-ring performer.”

WrestleVotes is reporting that the reason behind Heyman being removed as the Executive Director of RAW is because of the show not having any specific direction. The script continuously got changed over the past couple of weeks.

“Regarding the creative change, source indicates that RAW has been a mess lately. At times recently the show has changed up to the point of air. While the blame isn’t solely on Heyman, he is the one taking the fall here. ‘It couldn’t continue like this’ was an exact quote I got.”

PWInsider also noted that Vince McMahon has been “very upset” and openly “frustrated” with RAW recently.
