• Real Reason Behind The Undertaker Main Eventing Night 1 Of WrestleMania 36

According to The Dirty Sheets, Becky Lynch vs. Shayna Baszler for the RAW Women’s Championship was originally scheduled to be the main event of Night 1 of WrestleMania 36.

The Undertaker vs. AJ Styles in a Boneyard Match was originally supposed to be the #3 match on the main show of Night 1, to break up the normal action from the Performance Center.

However, Vince McMahon made a late change and switched these matches once he realized they had the opportunity of having The Undertaker main event WrestleMania for a 4th decade.

The Undertaker has now main evented 5 WrestleManias in 4 different decades:

WrestleMania 13 (1997): Defeated Sycho Sid in a No DQ match to win the WWF Championship

WrestleMania 24 (2008): Defeated Edge to win the World Heavyweight Championship

WrestleMania 26 (2010): Defeated Shawn Michaels in a “Streak vs. Career” match

WrestleMania 33 (2017): Lost to Roman Reigns in a No Holds Barred match

WrestleMania 36 – Night 1 (2020): Defeated AJ Styles in a Boneyard match
