• Real Reason Behind WWE Bringing Back Brock Lesnar & Becky Lynch On The Same Night
At SummerSlam 2021, Becky Lynch returned and defeated Bianca Belair to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship, and Brock Lesnar returned to confront Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
According to the Wrestling Observer, FOX Officials were unhappy about the fact that WWE didn’t try to sign CM Punk.
With that being in mind, and John Cena leaving again, WWE Officials made the decision to bring back Becky Lynch & Brock Lesnar to SmackDown to keep the FOX Officials happy.
Also, FOX is not happy about the fact that WWE promotes Peacock (which is NBCUniversal’s streaming service) on their channel during SmackDown.
This led to WWE Officials feeling that they need to deliver something big on SmackDown, which is why both Becky Lynch & Brock Lesnar are scheduled to appear on tonight’s SmackDown.
Another reason for Lesnar’s return was the upcoming Saudi Arabia PPV, Crown Jewel, in October.
