A recent Netflix docuseries, Mr. McMahon, has sparked discussions about why Brock Lesnar seemingly has the freedom to do as he pleases in WWE.
The documentary delves into Vince McMahon’s various controversies, including the s*xual harassment lawsuit filed by Sable, who later returned to WWE.
Dave Meltzer has suggested that Sable’s marriage to Lesnar is a key factor in Vince McMahon giving Lesnar significant leeway in WWE. Meltzer explained on Wrestling Observer Radio:
“The fact that Brock Lesnar is with Sable is why Brock Lesnar in Vince’s mind gets what he wants.
The dynamic there is the most interesting dynamic that there is because Brock got the girl. Brock always gets what he wants there.”
Meltzer also hinted that this relationship played a role in Lesnar’s major WWE accomplishments, including his victory over The Undertaker at WrestleMania 30:
“Brock got to beat Undertaker at WrestleMania 30 – it’s somewhat related… but the reason it was Brock, that’s part of it.”
Lesnar has also been implicated in a separate lawsuit, where McMahon was accused of offering sexual favors on behalf of Lesnar during contract negotiations. Since the lawsuit was filed, Lesnar has not been seen in WWE, and he has not commented publicly on the matter.
