• Real Reason CM Punk Missed The Last Two RAWs

World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk was last seen on WWE programming at Survivor Series 2025, where he was pinned by Bron Breakker is the Men’s WarGames Match.

Punk missed last week’s and this week’s RAW. While some may think Punk has been off TV due to his dog Larry’s death, that’s not the case.

According to PWInsider, Punk is off WWE TV because he’s currently filming for Netflix series “The Bodyguard.”

The Best In The World is scheduled to defend his World Heavyweight Title against Breakker on the first RAW of 2026 on January 5th, which will also be the red brand’s one-year anniversary on Netflix.

On last night’s RAW, Breakker sent the following message to Punk:

“I’m gonna take your World Heavyweight Championship and hell, you know what? While I’m at it, I’ll take your wife too.”

• “That sh*t made me cry” – John Cena On CM Punk Going To Saudi Arabia

John Cena became emotional when talking about CM Punk’s decision to wrestle in Saudi Arabia this past summer, calling the moment “awesome.”

Cena was a guest on the Insight podcast with Chris Van Vliet and was asked about his retirement tour. He said that Punk’s appearance in Saudi Arabia at Night of Champions 2025 was a moment “larger than sports entertainment” and admitted “that sh*t made me cry.”

Punk had previously criticized the WWE-Saudi Arabia relationship in a 2020 tweet, but he apologized for the post while in the country.

Cena said that Punk’s visit showed “Accountability, vulnerability, apology, forgiveness. Cultures melding into each other.”

Beyond the emotion, Cena praised Punk for his creative idea for their feud: Punk came out and used Cena’s own signature “Doctor of Thuganomics” style.

Cena said that after everything Punk had gone through, his trip to Saudi Arabia felt like “redemption, acceptance.” Cena also said the fans in Saudi Arabia are great and have become louder over the years, and he was happy they welcomed Punk.

• Good News For LA Knight Fans

As seen on last night’s RAW, LA Knight lost to Logan Paul after the masked man from Survivor Series attacked him.

After the match, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed attacked him. Backstage, Reed hit Knight with a Tsunami on top of a car.

According to Bodyslam, 2026 is expected to be a much bigger and better year for The Mega Star. WWE is making sure to book him as one of the top babyfaces on the roster.

The company is fully aware of how loud and positive the fans react to Knight. They plan to use his current storyline with The Vision to make those reactions grow even stronger.

Because WWE sees the strong fan support, they are committed to taking their time with Knight’s push and focusing on the long-term plan for his success.
