• Old School WWF Legend Celebrates His Birthday

Old School WWF Legend “Sycho” Sid Justice (Real name: Sidney Eudy) celebrates his 59th birthday today.

Sid Vicious made a name for himself in Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling as a member of The Skyscrapers and later The Four Horsemen, before he joined the World Wrestling Federation as ‘Sid Justice’ in 1991.

He ended up main eventing his first ever WrestleMania against Hulk Hogan in 1992 and became Hogan’s first WrestleMania opponent, who kicked out after the legendary Big Boot / Leg Drop finish.

After disagreements with The Ultimate Warrior in their post-WrestleMania feud, Sid quit the promotion and returned to WCW a year later in the spring of 1993.

At Starrcade 1993, Sid was already booked to defeat WCW World Champion Big Van Vader for the title, but unfortunately he was fired before the PPV after an altercation with his former Horsemen companion Arn Anderson, where both were stabbing each other with scissors.

By 1995, he returned to the WWF as HBK’s bodyguard, but turned on Shawn right away and became a member of ‘The Million Dollar Corporation’ faction.

Sid defeated Michaels for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship at Survivor Series 1996 in Madison Square Garden and (after losing the belt at the Royal Rumble) a few months later defeated Bret “The Hitman” Hart to win his second and last WWF World Title, that resulted in him main eventing yet another WrestleMania, this time against The Undertaker.

He had one more run with Turner’s WCW, where he returned yet again in 1999, but this time a botched move ended his main stream wrestling career in the main event of the ‘WCW Sin 2001’ PPV.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SID!

• Real Reason Why The Usos Haven’t Returned On WWE TV Yet

Multi-time Tag Team Champions The Usos have been off WWE programming for almost 5 months now.

Fans have been wanting them to return for a while now, and many fans hoped they would answer Viking Raiders’ open challenge at TLC 2019, but that didn’t happen.

Tom Colohue went on to explains Usos’ absence and their return status:

“The Usos are due back soon. They have a limited-term contract, whereby they only have to work so many dates, so you often get large patches that they and Naomi are missing in action.

Last year it was just after WrestleMania, for example, we didn’t see them for a long time.

While there are a lot of rumors that they are out for, let’s say personal issues, to my knowledge that’s not actually the case, it’s nearly the end of the year, similar to I think Daniel Bryan’s contract is, they have time off in their contracts, that they haven’t had much of it. So we are where we are.

The Usos are expected back soon, at least around [Royal] Rumble time, in the push towards WrestleMania where they will undoubtedly have a presence given their name factor alone.”
