• If you observed issues with the FOX feed during the opening segment of last night’s SmackDown, you weren’t alone.
There were widespread issues with the feed for everyone watching the east coast broadcast because FOX opted to censor a sign in the crowd.
A fan was holding up a “Die Rocky Die” sign clearly visible in the view of the hard camera.
The “Die Rocky Die” sign harkens back to a time when fans rejected his character in 1997 when he wrestled as Rocky Maivia. Fans would display “Die Rocky Die” signs at shows, which eventually became part of the storyline explaining Rocky’s transformation into The Rock.
It’s possible FOX wasn’t aware of this history when they decided to censor the sign.

• Cody Rhodes competed in the dark main event after last night’s SmackDown went off the air.
The American Nightmare defeated Drew McIntyre via DQ after Grayson Waller interfered.
Cody delivered a Cross Rhodes to Drew after the match and put Waller through a table.
Rhodes then cut a promo and wasn’t a fan of how The Rock said that the Phoenix crowd is known for their cocaine and meth use, as there are children in attendance.
