• Reason Behind Daniel Bryan Being Booked On Money In The Bank 2019 Kickoff Show

WWE announced on this week’s SmackDown that The Usos will battle SmackDown Tag Team Champions Daniel Bryan & Rowan on the Money In The Bank 2019 Kickoff show.

Some people are confused and think that this match will be for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles, but that’s not the case as this will be a non-title match.

According to the Wrestling Observer, Daniel Bryan was booked on the Money In The Bank 2019 Kickoff show because WWE officials didn’t know he would be available for this upcoming PPV when they were booking the match-card.

Bryan was originally scheduled to be in the co-main event of the PPV, where he would’ve challenged Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship in a WrestleMania 35 rematch, but that plan was scrapped due to Bryan’s injury (and then WWE ended up doing that match on RAW a few weeks back when Bryan returned).
