• Reason Behind Injury Angle For Samoa Joe After AEW Double Or Nothing

At the AEW Double Or Nothing 2022 pay-per-view, ROH TV Champion Samoa Joe lost to Adam Cole in the Final of the Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament.

On this week’s episode of Dynamite, it was shown that Joe was attacked backstage at Double Or Nothing by Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt & Satnam Singh.

They injured Joe’s arm using a Steel Chair. You can watch it below:

This injury angle was done because Joe is going to be off AEW programming for a while because he landed an acting role.

According to Deadline, Joe will be playing the dual role of Sweet Tooth in Peacock’s Twisted Metal series.

Below is the description of his character:

“Sweet Tooth is described as a hilarious and terrifying hulk of a man, who is as emotional as he is cunning.

A lover of chaos, this majestic rage-filled killer dons an ever-smiling clown mask and uses ‘Lost Vegas’ as his own personal kill-ground, all while he drives his infamous doomsday ice cream truck.”
