Reason Behind Jeff Jarrett Taking Time Off From GFW, The Rock Meets The Boy Who Credited Him For Saving His Brother’s Life

Jeff Jarrett - Double J

Reason Behind Jeff Jarrett Taking Time Off From GFW (His Bound For Glory 2017 Match Cancelled?)

GFW made the following announcement regarding former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Jarrett earlier today:

GFW Update
“Effective immediately, Jeff Jarrett is taking an indefinite leave of absence from his position as Chief Creative Officer to focus on personal matters. Jeff will be available on a consultative basis as needed.”

According to PWInsider, Jarrett taking time off has to do with GFW President Ed Nordholm being unhappy with him. One of the reasons for unhappiness has to do with Jarrett’s condition at the recent AAA TripleMania event. Another reason was that Jarrett refused to take blame for anything and blamed every wrong thing on the company.

Also, the situation is said to be far uglier than anyone realizes. There were talks of doing a match between Jarrett and Alberto El Patron (f.k.a Alberto Del Rio in WWE) at Bound For Glory 2017, but it looks like it’s not going to happen now.

Shane Helms (f.k.a The Hurricane in WWE), who has his issues his Jarrett, mocked him by tweeting the following:

Reby Hardy (Matt Hardy’s wife) also has issues with Jarrett and she lost her $hit after hearing this news. Below are the tweets that she posted regarding this:

The Rock Meets The Boy Who Credited Him For Saving His Brother’s Life

A boy recently saved his younger brother’s life by doing CPR (which he learned from The Rock in the San Andreas movie). The Rock finally met that boy and below are the posts that The Great One posted about this on Instagram:

Jacob was super nervous and shy the whole time we hung out, so it was fun getting him to laugh and talk. He threw me for an unexpected spin when he showed up on set wearing a shirt that he proudly made with my bull insignia on the front and on the back was the picture of me holding our two puppies, Brutus and Hobbs, after I rescued them from our pool. Seeing that picture on this boy’s shirt, got me in the gut. Eventually, we would lose Brutus to heaven, but it wasn’t the picture of Brutus that made me tear up, it was the fact that this 10yr old kid, had a heart big enough to put our puppies on his shirt after he saved his little 2yr old brother’s life. What a special day. What a special kid. Thanks Jacob for being awesome and for being the kind of person we all aspire to be. ~ DJ
