Old School WWF/WCW Tag Team Wrestling Legend “Nasty Boy” Brian Knobbs (Real name: Brian Yandrisovitz) celebrates his 56th birthday today.

Brian Knobbs was most famous as one half of the legendary Tag Team ‘The Nasty Boys’, with his partner Jerry Sags.

Together, they worked for the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), the American Wrestling Association (AWA), World Championship Wrestling (WCW), Xcitement Wrestling Federation (XWF) & Total Nonstop Action! (TNA).

They teamed from 1985 till 1997 and then reunited again in 2001 and still team up to this day during occasional appearances on the independent scene.

Roman Reigns pulled out from facing Goldberg for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 36 due to health concerns. The Big Dog didn’t want to compromise his already weak immune system (due to battle with Leukemia in the past) during the Coronavirus pandemic.

Earlier we noted that Vince McMahon asked all wrestlers and commentators to stop mentioning Reigns on TV. He was also removed from the WrestleMania 31 footage on this week’s RAW.

Bryan Alvarez discussed the reason why McMahon is so mad at Reigns:

“They waited until the very last minute kicking and screaming to cancel these shows [in March]. Then, of course when they cancelled these shows as much as they could it was business as usual.

They’re gonna run live every week and no matter how much criticism they were just going to [continue] — what does that tell you?

What does it tell you when they do that and then they get mad at Roman Reigns because he has leukemia. He has leukemia. He’ll be battling it for the rest of his life, okay? What does it tell you when they get made at him for going home?

You know what it tells me? It tells me they think this whole thing is BS. They think this whole coronavirus is the flu — maybe [they think] it’s not as bad as the flu.

You know, Vince is out there, he’s 74-years-old. He’s running around like a crazy person, he’s not sleeping. What it tells you is that he doesn’t take this seriously at all. That’s why he’s mad at Roman Reigns.”
