• Release Date Of Roman Reigns’ Next Movie
According to Amazon MGM, The Pickup, an action-comedy featuring WWE Superstar Roman Reigns, will premiere on August 6 on Prime Video. The film also stars Eddie Murphy, Keke Palmer, and Pete Davidson. Reigns had taken time off from WWE after losing to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40 last year, with reports saying he was busy filming this project. He returned to WWE at SummerSlam 2024 to begin a feud with Solo Sikoa.
While there had been talk of Reigns joining another film, Good Fortune, director Tim Story confirmed in Vanity Fair that Reigns is only involved in The Pickup.
The Tribal Chief is also expected to star in Legendary’s upcoming live-action Street Fighter movie, where he is rumored to play the role of “Akuma.”

• Canceled Plan For Bianca Belair’s Return On SmackDown Revealed
Bianca Belair made her return to WWE TV on last night’s SmackDown, in her hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee. According to WrestleVotes, she was scheduled to get a special entrance, but that didn’t happen.
In an update, WrestleVotes revealed the canceled plan:
“So as of 6pm Bianca was set to enter with the University of Tennessee marching band. I don’t know what happened between 6pm and show time. They can change things as they please and they love to do just that.”

AEW is dealing with multiple injuries following the Double or Nothing pay-per-view.

In an update from the Wrestling Observer, Action Andretti suffered a broken nose at this PPV. He competed on the Double Or Nothing Zero Hour pre-show, where he teamed up with Lio Rush, Rocky Romero & Trent Beretta to lose to ROH World Champion Bandido, AR FOX, Hologram & Komander.
