Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, featuring Nikki Bella and CM Punk.
• Released WWE Wrestler Calls Out Nikki Bella For Lying About Domestic Violence
WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella will be paying a significant amount of money to her ex-husband, Artem Chigvintsev, as part of their finalized divorce settlement.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, Nikki has agreed to pay Artem $3,500 a month in child support for their son, Matteo. She will also give him $200,000 in total — $100,000 upfront and another $100,000 before the end of the year.
Nikki will cover the costs of Matteo’s speech therapy, while both parents will split expenses for his extracurricular activities. The former WWE star will retain control of her business entities, including Stephanie Nicole Garcia Entertainment and Bonita Bonita.
The custody agreement includes alternating major holidays each year.
Artem was arrested in August 2023 after allegedly assaulting Nikki. She later filed a restraining order, which he contested, claiming she was the aggressor. The settlement was reached in November 2024, but a judge only recently approved it.
Odyssey Jones, who was released from WWE after domestic abuse allegations were made against him, commented the following about this situation on Instagram:
“Women lying about abuse and then you find out they’re the abusive one’s what a shocker!”

• CM Punk Wants To Face Top WWE Star Who Will Retire In 2027
CM Punk and AJ Styles have had a complex relationship. In June 2020, Punk criticized Styles on social media for remaining silent during the George Floyd protests.
Punk’s comments implied disappointment in Styles’ lack of public support for the movement. In response, Styles stated that he does not respect Punk and wants nothing to do with him.
Despite their differences, both wrestlers have acknowledged each other’s in-ring abilities. They have faced each other on the indy scene in 2003 & 2004, with their last singles match occurring over two decades ago.
In April 2024, Styles admitted that he was expecting problems when Punk returned to WWE but was pleasantly surprised by Punk’s professionalism.
Styles expressed interest in facing Punk in the ring, stating that he would love to “tear the house down” with him.
Now, Punk has stated that he wants to face Styles as well, during his latest live session on Instagram.
However, time is running out for this Punk – Styles feud, as Styles has stated that he will retire from in-ring competition in 2027 when he turns 50 years old.
Punk, who will turn 47 in October, is currently involved in the main event scene on RAW, while Styles is a part of the mid-card scene on the red brand, losing to Logan Paul at WrestleMania 41.
