• Retired WWE Wrestler Is Ready To Get Physical If Needed
RAW Commentator Corey Graves was forced to retire from in-ring competition in 2014 due to concussions.
However, he recently got cleared, but has no plans to wrestle.
During an interview with The Athletic, Corey revealed that he can now do physical things in WWE if the storyline requires a commentator to be attacked or something like that:
“I felt like I had sort of plateaued, and I needed a different challenge. And so I went down to Tampa to the same doctors that shut me down initially, went through the whole workup again, took that information, gave it to WWE.
They actually sent me down to the UPMC (University of Pittsburgh Medical Center). I did WWE’s’ testing protocol, and they said, ‘You’re medically clear; you don’t have any sort of issues that give us pause or worry.’
It’s nice for me to know that I can contribute in a different manner if need be. I’ve been through the system and in the system for almost 11 years now.
So, I’ve seen and done just about everything there is to do, aside from, you know, competing in the ring. I just think having that extra tool in my pocket that, OK, if I do need to do something physical, I can.
But that said, it’s not necessarily a goal immediately.”

On this day in Pro Wrestling history on April 2, 1995, the World Wrestling Federation aired ‘WrestleMania XI’ LIVE on PPV from the Hartford Civic Center in Hartford, Connecticut.
This was the 11th annual WrestleMania event and it had NFL Legend “L.T.” Lawrence Taylor in the main event.
The inaugural WrestleMania happened in 1985 and even nowadays WrestleMania is still by far the biggest professional wrestling event on the planet each year.
