Rhyno
According to reports, former ECW World Heavyweight Champion Rhyno made his return to WWE at last night’s NXT tapings. He was involved in a match with Elias Samson where he quickly won the match with a Gore.
Moments later in a backstage segment, he was involved in a promo with the #1 contender for the NXT Championship, Finn Balor. According to various sources, Rhyno is back to put over young talent, and he would probably have a short run in NXT, and might work backstage as a trainer after his stint his over.
Rhyno is also a 3 time WWF Hardcore Champion and also held the NWA World Heavyweight Championship in TNA. Rhyno came back to WWE after almost 10 years as he was last seen in the WWE in 2005 at the ECW One Night Stand pay-per-view.
Another return took place at last night’s tapings as former WWE Tag Team Champion and X-Division Champion, The Brian Kendrick made a comeback to the company and lost to Finn Balor.
According to live reports from fans who attended the tapings, the Full Sail crowd popped big time for Rhyno’s return.
