• Ric Flair Planning To Wrestle His 1st Match In 11 Years, Rumored Opponents

2-Time WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair won’t be coming to WWE & AEW TV due to the Dark Side Of The Ring controversy.

However, he is still planning to return to the ring, which is going to be his 1st match in 11 years!

Flair has been training in the ring with AEW wrestler Jay Lethal and he has been taking bumps as well.

You can watch it below:

According to the Wrestling Observer, rumors are going on that Flair’s return match will see him team up with current AEW Tag Team FTR (who are the current AAA & ROH Tag Team Champions) to face The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express and another man in a 6-man tag team match.

Flair’s last match was against his old WCW rival Sting on an episode of TNA IMPACT Wrestling in September 2011. Flair lost that match.

Flair’s last WWE match took place at WrestleMania 24 in 2008, where he lost to Shawn Michaels.

Last year, Flair said the following on his podcast about his physical shape and if he could still wrestle:

“Could I do it? Absolutely. I’m in better shape now than I was when Sting and I wrestled the last match on Nitro.

WWE won’t let me do anything, even though I’m released. I understand, they have so much liability and I told them I would sign anything, but nobody wants me to die on their watch. I’d rather die in the ring. If I have to go.

I’d rather not jump off the 19th floor or spend another 31 days in the ICU.”
