Below are some top WWE news stories of the day:

– During a recent interview on the “This Last Weekend” podcast, Ric Flair praised 2-time WWE Champion The Miz.

Below is what The Nature Boy said about the WrestleMania 27 main eventer:

“He’s a great kid, man. He’s a guy that really cares for the business, man. And they sh*t on him when he started. They gave him a tough time. That’s bullsh*t.

The guys that bully, I got no time for that. But he’s a wonderful kid, and he’s made the most of it. And I’m going to tell you the truth. Whatever they hand him, he makes work.

“It’s a gift. Whatever they hand him, he goes. He doesn’t complain. If he does, I’m not aware of it. And so damn respectful. He’s a great kid.”

– Former WWE Champion Bray Wyatt was scheduled to face Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 39. However, due to an unknown illness, the match got canceled and Wyatt missed the biggest show of the year.

Ever since his return to WWE at last year’s Extreme Rules premium live event, Wyatt only wrestled one televised match, where he defeated LA Knight in a Mountain Dew Pitch Black Match at Royal Rumble 2023.

According to Fightful, the illness that Wyatt is actively recovering from was both career and life threatening.

As noted before, Fightful reported that Wyatt could be back in the ring by next month if he’s fully recovered and cleared by the doctors. Ideas for his return have been pitched by Creative in WWE recently.

According to RSN, a lot of people in WWE don’t know what Wyatt is dealing with because of HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) laws:

“There are HIPAA laws in place preventing the dissemination of that information, even corporately.”
