As we noted earlier, two time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was scheduled to undergo a surgery while being placed in a medically induced coma.
Fellow WWE Hall of Famer “Mean” Gene Okerlund revealed that the surgery Flair underwent was a colon surgery. Here’s what he posted on Facebook: “I’ve heard nothing on the outcome of Ric Flairs colon surgery this afternoon but the outpouring of prayers and love re-enforce that he definitely is “THE MAN”.”
Flair’s manager confirmed on Twitter that the surgery was a success: “Ric had surgery today (not❤️related) am happy to report it was a success. Still a long road ahead so plz keep ??4Ric Charlotte Megan David & Wendy.”
TMZ Sports is reporting that Flair is resting with his family by his side and the situation is said to be still extremely serious. We’ll keep you updated on The Nature Boy’s status here on WWFOldSchool.com.
Flair’s condition was also discussed on tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw:
