Historically, Team Blue has also had its share of surprises, so is it possible SmackDown LIVE will see new faces emerge one week before the Superstar Shake-up?”

“The Big Dog” Roman Reigns came out on last night’s RAW and talked about how Vince McMahon didn’t smarten him up before his match with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 34 and he didn’t know what was coming.

Well, it looks like Roman’s right.

According to Slice Wrestling, Vince McMahon made an extra effort to keep Brock Lesnar signing a new deal a silent story and didn’t even inform Roman Reigns about the re-signing and the match outcome being changed beforehand.

Reigns was informed by the referee about the outcome being changed AFTER Reigns made his entrance at WrestleMania 34.

Below is what Slice Wrestling posted:

“Vince McMahon is a master of deception. This has been known by industry insiders forever. If Vince feels the audience is already looking for things to happen he will blind side you like no other. The week leading up to WrestleMania Brock and Vince/HHH started negotiations in attempts to work out a new deal.

Vince knew everyone in the world of wrestling (fans, reporters) were thinking Roman was winning, so to shock the world Vince and Brock silently worked out a new deal shortly before the show. Vince hid this secret from almost everyone. Only the highest clearance officials and Vince’s inner circle knew Lesnar was working out a new deal.

The backstage officials, WWE talent relations and the ENTIRE locker room roster including Roman himself WERE NOT told anything and left in the dark. Slice Wrestling top sources confirmed to us the day of WrestleMania that a new deal was in place which is when we reported the Brock/Contract report on Sunday afternoon. NO OTHER website, journalists, insiders or fans were aware of Brock’s new deal and of the impending SWERVE!

To keep the news of Brock signing a new deal top secret, Roman walked out to the ring expecting to win, after he made his entrance and while Brock was making his Vince alerted the referee through his earpiece to relay the info to Roman that he was now LOSING. On the RAW after Mania, Roman did a promo explaining that he was not aware of any of this and that he himself had been worked by the master of deception himself, Mr. McMahon.

Brock Lesnar is now signed to a new deal which allows him to compete in WWE & UFC and is still the Universal Champion.”
