• Roman Reigns Breaks Character At Last Night’s WWE Live Event, Tells Fans To Not Record Him

WWE did a Live Event titled “Saturday Night’s Main Event” at the Erie Insurance Arena in Erie, Pennsylvania last night.

In the main event of the show, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns defeated Drew McIntyre to retain the Universal Championship (only one title was on the line).

After the match, Reigns broke character and thanked the fans for supporting the WWE Superstars, as fans’ energy helps them to keep going all year around as they have no off-season.

Roman also told the fans to not record this promo and that he’ll claim it’s a hologram of him if he sees videos of this promo on Social Media.

Fans posted the video of this promo and you can watch it below:

As we have reported in the past, the eventual plan is to turn Roman babyface again, because he is the face of WWE.

• Old School WWF Legend Would Have Celebrated His Birthday

Today would have been the 68th birthday of Old School WWF Legend “Rowdy” Roddy Piper (Real name: Roderick Toombs).

After touring the territories during the 70s & early 80s and after a brutal dog collar match against Greg “The Hammer” Valentine at the first Starrcade in 1983, Piper joined the World Wrestling Federation in early 1984, where he soon became the #1 villain who feuded with the #1 babyface in the promotion, Hulk Hogan.

Together they main evented the first ever WrestleMania and put professional wrestling on the map, as we know it.

“Hot Rod” continued to wrestle for the WWF until 1992 (minus a hiatus for Hollywood in 1988), but returned several times in 1994, 1995 & 1996, before Roddy joined Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling at the Halloween Havoc 1996 PPV.

In 2005, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by his old rival “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY & † R.I.P.
