On tonight’s episode of SmackDown, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will return.
This will be Reigns’ first appearance on WWE programming since the RAW after WrestleMania 39.
Roman isn’t happy with The Usos after they lost the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship to Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn in the main event of WrestleMania 39 Saturday.
The Tribal Chief hasn’t even talked to Jimmy & Jey Uso since then. Paul Heyman also hinted that Roman is getting tired of The Usos.
Jimmy & Jey failed to win the Titles back in a rematch on SmackDown a few weeks back, and now, it looks like The Head of the Table will take matters into his own hands.
WRKD Wrestling reported the following about tonight’s SmackDown:
“Roman Reigns continues to lose trust in The Usos and decides to take matters into his own hands at Night of Champions.”
Xero News then added that Roman will team up with Solo Sikoa to take on Zayn & Owens for the Tag Team Titles in Saudi Arabia at Night Of Champions on May 27th.
Since Saudi Arabia and Syria are reopening embassies to restore relations, Zayn will be allowed to work the Night Of Champions premium live event, and Owens will go with him this time around.
Roman has held the WWE Tag Team Championship only once in his career, with Seth Rollins during The Shield days. They won the Titles 10 years ago on May 19th 2013 at Extreme Rules by defeating Team Hell No (Kane & Daniel Bryan).
