• Roman Reigns Issues Statement On Getting Pulled From Tonight’s WWE Day 1 PPV
Universal Champion Roman Reigns was scheduled to defend the Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar in the main event of tonight’s WWE Day 1 PPV, but he tested positive for COVID-19 earlier today.
Due to this, Reigns has been pulled from tonight’s show and Brock Lesnar has been added to the WWE Championship match instead.
The Tribal Chief issued the following statement regarding this situation:
“I yearn to perform tonight at #WWEDay1 to defend my Universal Championship. However, unfortunately, earlier today I tested positive for COVID-19. Due to the proper protocols I am unable to compete as originally scheduled. I look forward to returning to action as soon as possible.”
