14. WWF Legend Hosting TV Show In Russia

Legendary WWF Announcer Jesse ‘The Body’ Ventura just signed a deal to host a new TV Show for the russian channel RT. The show is going to be called ‘The World According To Jesse’ and is scheduled for 32 episodes, but they have yet to start filming any content.

The president of Russia, Vladimir Putin himself assured Ventura, that nothing will be censored. The former Wrestler & color-commentator is no stranger to hosting TV shows, as he had his own show called ‘Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura’ that aired from 2009 till 2012. Here’s what Jesse had to say on why he took the job offer:

“I can’t get a job in the U.S. No one will touch me. My United States union throws me in the dirt and who comes to the rescue? Russia.”

When he was asked about the content of the new show, he said the following:

“It’ll be my viewpoint on what’s happening around the world. I want to do it. But in some ways I was forced to do it.”
