• Roman Reigns Recalls His 1st Ever Meeting With The Rock During The Attitude Era
During an interview on the Out Of Character podcast, current Universal Champion Roman Reigns revealed when he first met Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, who is of course also a member of their famous Samoan family.
Here’s what The Tribal Chief had to say:
“I think it was Biloxi, Mississippi, and this is when Dwayne had just started turning into ‘The Rock’ and starting to display that persona. I was young, like early teens, and I was with the twins, The Usos, and a younger brother who was about a year and a half younger than them.
We’re just kind of walking out of catering, and here comes Dwayne, and man, he was just super nice. This is the first time I think I have ever met him. [He] Kind of real loud and just a huge ‘Hello’, and a big hug.”
The Rock and Roman Reigns are currently rumored to wrestle each other in the main event of WrestleMania 38 on April 3, 2022.
