Below are some top WWE news stories of the day, involving Roman Reigns and Hulk Hogan.
• After being on a hiatus for months, Roman Reigns finally made his first appearance since his WrestleMania 40 loss. Tired of Solo Sikoa’s constant threats, The Tribal Chief returned at SummerSlam 2024 to interfere in Sikoa’s match, helping Cody Rhodes secure a victory.
This comeback not only set the stage for future rivalries but also allowed Reigns to break a unique record. His return garnered over 100 million social media views, making it the biggest SummerSlam social media moment ever.
SummerSlam has produced many iconic moments over the years, but the return of the Head of the Table, with his immense hype and popularity, set a new record for The Biggest Party of the Summer.
Now, with an impending feud against Sikoa’s Bloodline, Reigns might be poised to reclaim his status as Tribal Chief.
The former WWE Champion is set to return to television after several months. Reigns has yet to address his actions in Cleveland, but he will when he appears on this Friday’s episode of SmackDown at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
