4. Team USA vs. Team World To Take Place on Raw, Champion vs. Champion Match Announced As Well
As we noted before, next week’s July 4th edition of WWE Raw will feature a US Title match between Rusev & Titus O’Neil. WWE has announced two more matches for the show, one of which will be a 16 man elimination tag team match between “Team USA” and “Team World”.
Below is what WWE posted:
“WWE.com can confirm that Raw’s Fourth of July celebration will include tag team action on a global scale when “Team U.S.A.” battles “Team World” in a 16-Man Elimination Tag Team Match. Which American Superstars will clash with a squad of international competitors? Stay tuned.”
The main event of the show will be a rematch from this week’s SmackDown, a “Champion vs. Champion” match, where the Intercontinental Champion The Miz takes on the WWE Champion Dean Ambrose. Below is what WWE posted regarding this:
“It’s doubtful whether hot dogs and hamburgers are in line with The Miz’s strict Hollywood diet. However, after Monday’s barbecue festivities draw to a close, he could be dining out on a victory over the WWE Champion.
