8. SmackDown TV Ratings For This Week
This week’s episode of SmackDown did an average of 2.08 million viewers, which is down from last week’s 2.15 million viewers. This week’s SmackDown featured a Fatal 4 Way #1 contender’s match for the US Championship and a US Title match.
The main event was a “Champion vs. Champion” match when Intercontinental Champion The Miz faced off against the WWE Champion Dean Ambrose.
Also on SmackDown, NXT wrestler Billie Kay made her main roster debut. She faced Dana Brooke. You can watch that match below:
7. WWE Lifts Jerry Lawler’s Suspension
As we noted before, domestic charges against WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler and his girlfriend have now been dropped. Ted Hansom, Lawler’s attorney, had the following to say:
“A big misunderstanding and won’t happen again. We are happy with the outcome.”
WWE has now lifted Lawler’s suspension.

“Jerry Lawler’s legal matter has been resolved and his suspension has been lifted, effective immediately.”
