On this day in Pro Wrestling history on July 18, 1993, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired ‘WCW Beach Blast 1993’ LIVE on PPV from the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Mississippi.
This was the 2nd out of two Beach Blast pay-per-views that WCW aired in 1992 and 1993.

– WCW World Tag Team Championship: The Hollywood Blonds (c) defeated The Four Horsemen
– Iron Man – vacant WCW United States Heavyweight Championship: Dustin Rhodes wrestled Rick Rude to a draw
– NWA World Heavyweight Championship: Ric Flair defeated Barry Windham (c)
– Sting & Davey Boy Smith defeated The Masters of the Powerbomb
• Ronda Rousey Could Make A Surprise Return At SummerSlam 2019
As we noted before, Brad Shepard reported that Ronda Rousey’s return to WWE is imminent.
In an update to this, Brad is now reporting that Ronda could make a surprise return at SummerSlam 2019:
“As I recently reported, Ronda Rousey’s return is inevitable. I’m told her name is coming up more frequently in the office.
She does have a friendship with Nattie and unfinished business with Becky Lynch so that could be a way to re-introduce her. We’ll see if that happens, but that is certainly an intriguing option.”
Becky Lynch vs. Natalya for the RAW Women’s Championship is set to take place at SummerSlam 2019.
