• RUMOR: WWE Planning To Unify The Tag Team Divisions & Titles
As seen on tonight’s RAW, RAW Tag Team Champions The Street Profits were confronted by SmackDown Tag Team Champions Cesaro & Shinsuke Nakamura, after Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins defeated Andrade & Angel Garza in a Tag Team match.
Twitter user BeltFanDan, who has broken several news stories in the past, noted that there has been talk of unifying the Tag Team divisions on RAW and SmackDown, along with the Titles for both brands.
He also noted that there isn’t any talk of a new WWE Championship design debuting at Clash Of Champions.
“Only thing floating around recently, is deciding to unify the branded tag belts. No clue where this ‘new WWE Championship belt’ at Clash of Champions rumor started.”
