• Rusev Comments On Potential Appearance At IMPACT Slammiversary 2020

On this week’s episode of IMPACT Wrestling, a promo for the Slammiversary 2020 pay-per-view aired, and they teased the debut of multiple former WWE wrestlers, who were released from the company back in April due to budget cuts (tap here to know more).

One of the wrestlers who was indirectly hinted to be in it was former WWE United States Champion Rusev. There was a Bulgarian flag shown at the start of the promo, which led to speculation that Rusev might be joining IMPACT Wrestling.

However, The Bulgarian Brute turned down such a possibility while addressing it on his Twitch stream.

“All I saw was a Bulgarian flag. I don’t know why you’d think they teased me. It could be a different Bulgarian for all I know.”

While Rusev has shot down the rumors, you can never count out the possibility of him joining IMPACT, as Rusev lives in Nashville and IMPACT has also been taping their shows there.
