– Sammy Guevara was originally scheduled to team up with Konosuke Takeshita to take on Chris Jericho & Kenny Omega on the 4-year anniversary episode of AEW Dynamite.
However, Guevara was pulled from this match and replaced with Kyle Fletcher of Aussie Open.
According to the Wrestling Observer, Guevara was pulled from this match because he suffered a concussion at the WrestleDream PPV, where he teamed up with Takeshita & Will Ospreay to defeat Jericho, Omega & Kota Ibushi (Guevara pinned Jericho after Don Callis attacked Jericho).
Guevara gave the following health update on Twitter:
“Good news, bad news.
Bad news I’m not cleared yet.
Good news everyday I’m feeling better.
