• Saraya Reacts To Rumors Of Sasha Banks Joining AEW To Be Her Mystery Partner
After losing to Saraya (fka Paige in WWE) at the AEW Full Gear 2022 pay-per-view, Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. challenged her to a tag team match on the January 11th 2023 episode of Dynamite.
Many fans have been speculating that Saraya’s mystery partner could be former WWE Women’s Champion Sasha Banks, since reports state that she’s done with WWE and will show up at the NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 PPV on January 4th.
During an interview with Forbes, Saraya was asked about Sasha possibly being her tag team partner and below is what the former WWE Divas Champion said:
“I feel like anytime there’s a mystery, everyone always goes straight for Mercedes (Sasha Banks). They’re like—straight away — it’s her!
There’s plenty of women out there, I’m not going to say yes or no to anybody, but there’s a lot of exciting prospects for a potential tag partner.
I’ve always said that I would want to work with Sasha again in any capacity, because she’s a pro.
In the wrestling side of things, she’s such a fantastic athlete, you can’t deny her talent. She’s fantastic.”
