• Old School Wrestling Legend Would Have Celebrated His Birthday
Today would have been the 84th birthday of Old School Wrestling Legend Ray “The Crippler” Stevens (Real name: Carl Ray Stevens).
Ray Stevens wrestled for 42 years, from 1950 till 1992, working for various territories such as the American Wrestling Association (AWA), the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), Championship Wrestling from Florida (CWF), Jim Crockett Promotions & NWA Big Time Wrestling.
He won championships in pretty much every promotion he worked for, but has yet to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, which is most likely going to happen as part of their annual “Legacy Wing” inductions.

• Big Changes Made To WWE’s Writing Team
According to the Wrestling Observer, Ryan Ward has been removed from his lead writer position on SmackDown as he’s on a leave due to his marriage.
Ed Koskey has been moved to SmackDown from his head writer position on RAW.
Jonathon Baeckstrom has been moved from his head writer position on 205 Live to head writer position on RAW.
The RAW & SmackDown writing teams will be split in the second week of October.
• Scarlett Bordeaux At WWE Tryout
According to Squared Circle Sirens, former Impact Wrestling star Scarlett Bordeaux was at a WWE tryout at the WWE Performance Center recently.
She got released from Impact Wrestling in June and has since worked in AAA with her boyfriend Killer Kross (who is currently being punished by Impact Wrestling – tap here to know more).
