Below are some top news stories of the day, involving Scott Steiner and Baron Corbin.
• Scott Steiner recently shared how he reconciled with WWE, a move influenced by his nephew Bron Breakker’s rise in the company. Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Steiner acknowledged that Breakker’s success motivated him to move past old grudges.
“I believe it had everything to do with it because, you know, I left with a lot of hard feelings, you know what I mean? But, you know, at some point, you got to let it be. You can’t be angry the whole time, you can’t hold a grudge,” Steiner explained.
He continued, “Plus, the fact is, some people that you have a grudge against probably don’t even know anyways. So, and I didn’t want to screw up anything for him, so I just buried the hatchet.”
Big Poppa Pump also admitted that his personal issues with WWE delayed his Hall of Fame induction alongside his brother, Rick Steiner.

• Former WWE Superstar Baron Corbin (Tom Pestock) has reportedly been in talks with NJPW and could become one of its first signings in 2025.
Corbin recently confirmed his free-agent status following the expiration of his WWE contract, which the company chose not to renew.
Baron, who had a successful run in NXT before being called up to WWE’s main roster in 2016, achieved significant accolades, including winning the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal in his main roster debut at WrestleMania 32, Money In The Bank, King of the Ring, and the United States Championship. He also held the NXT Tag Team Championship twice.
Despite his past success, his return to the WWE main roster in 2024 saw limited opportunities.
According to Fightful Select, NJPW has expressed interest in Corbin. While it’s confirmed that both parties have been in contact, the depth of these discussions remains unclear.
