Below are a couple of important WWE news updates:
– WWE held a live event in Miami, Florida on Sunday night, which featured Seth Rollins defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Finn Balor in the main event.
Rollins defeated Balor and then took the mic to cut a promo. During his promo, Rollins was called a “fake a$$ champion” by a fan in the crowd.
The Visionary did not like the remark the fan passed about him and then responded with the following to him:
“That guy right there called me a fake a$$ champion. I’m here in your city… sweating buckets, bleeding my own blood! I’m far from a fake a$$ champion!
I am a fighting champion because you guys deserve a champion who’s not afraid to bleed his own blood. You deserve the visionary. You deserve the revolutionary. You deserve a World Champion. You deserve Seth Freakin’ Rollins!”
– Former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion Cora Jade has been an important part of the NXT 2.0 era. She has been consistently featured on TV, but the same can’t be said about her Premium Live Event record.
Jade last appeared on an NXT Premium Live Event in April of 2022, where she competed in a Fatal 4-Way match against then NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose, Alba Fyre and IYO SKY.
Mandy won that match to retain the NXT Women’s Championship.
Jade isn’t happy with how she’s been left off of NXT Premium Live Events for over a year, so she took to Twitter to voice her concern.
She tweeted the following:
“I remember when I was on a PLE in April of 2022”
She also tweeted a picture of her swimming pool to indicate that she wasn’t at the WWE Performance Center for NXT: The Great American Bash on Sunday night.
After tweeting her displeasure, Jade deactivated her Twitter account.
