We are saddened to report that Old School WWF Manager General Adnan (Adnan Al-Kaissie) passed away earlier today at the age of 84.

The cause of death is not disclosed yet at this point in time. Him passing away was announced by Mick Karch on Facebook.

Here’s what Mick posted:

“I am absolutely devastated to announce the passing of my wonderful friend and true wrestling legend, Adnan Al-Kaissy.

This one really hurts. Love and blessings to his family and friends. May he rest in peace. I loved this man.”

Adnan Al-Kaissie used to wrestle for several promotions during the 70s & 80s, but is mainly remembered for his time in Verne Gagne’s American Wrestling Association from 1981 till 1989, where he also became a manager, a role that got him a job with the World Wrestling Federation in 1990.

He managed WWF Champion Sgt. Slaughter & Colonel Mustafa (The Iron Sheik) in 1991 and even teamed up with them in the main event of the “SummerSlam 1991” PPV.

At SummerSlam 1991, Adnan, Slaughter & Mustafa (together known as The Triangle of Terror) lost to the team of Hulk Hogan & Ultimate Warrior in a Handicap Tag Team Match, with Sid Justice as the Special Guest Referee.

Sgt. Slaughter issued the following statement on Adnan’s passing:

“Sorry To Hear The Passing of Adnan Al-Kassie 😔

In 1991 ⁦WWE Asked Me To Portray An Iraqi Sympathizer 💪🏻 Adnan Being Born In Baghdad & A High School Friend of Saddam Hussein, Was Brought In As My General.

Together We Became The Most Evil Force 🔥 In Wrestling History.

R.I.P. My Friend 🙏🏻”

We extend our condolences to Adnan’s family, friends and fans.
