During an interview on K&C Masterpiece, 2-time WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels promoted the upcoming NXT Great American Bash premium live event on July 30th.

In this interview, HBK talked about pro-wrestling being much healthier now than it was back when he was still wrestling.

Many Legends & Fans think current wrestlers are “soft” compared to the Old School Wrestlers, and “The Show Stopper” gave his opinion on it.

Below is what Mr. WrestleMania said:

“I’m pretty good about not being the bitter old timer. I screwed up a bunch and try to show them the error of particular ways.

It’s a different business. Some of it is for the better. It’s a much healthier atmosphere than it was when I started.

There are some people who argue that it makes them a little softer. I can’t disagree with that in some respects, but at the same time, it doesn’t mean that it can’t be better and can’t be shaped up.

We have a great culture here that [Triple H] put in place a decade ago. It’s something we continue to build on.

Every now and then, we need to remind them of just how great it is to do this line of work, how good it is they have to do it and obviously getting the opportunity to jump outside the state of Florida and come to the state of Texas is going to be a blast for everybody.”

Shawn Michaels is the Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative in WWE and the creative head of NXT.
