Old School WWF Legend Shawn Michaels was recently interviewed by WrestleBinge and talked about those NXT Superstars that will have a great future on the WWE main roster.
Here’s what HBK said:
“Now this is about the generation of a Bron Breakker, Julius and Brutus Creed, Tiffany Stratton.
We have a number of young men and women that are coming through NXT that are going to be huge, huge superstars on the main roster.
I don’t think anybody is gonna be surprised if they see Bron Breakker and Carmelo Hayes headlining a WrestleMania someday in the very near future.”
‘The Heartbreak Kid’ Shawn Michaels wrestled for the World Wrestling Federation from 1988 until 1998 and again (for the renamed WWE) from 2002 until he officially retired in 2010.
The Showstopper eventually came out of retirement for one match on November 2nd 2018 at the WWE Crown Jewel pay-per-view in Saudi Arabia.
HBK is currently responsible for the booking of NXT.
Speaking of NXT, the following two matches have been announced for the NXT Great American Bash premium live event, which will take place on July 30th:
– NXT Championship Match: Carmelo Hayes (c) vs. Ilja Dragunov
– NXT North American Championship Match: Wes Lee (c) vs. Mustafa Ali
