• “Similar to me, he can end it on his terms and not just have it taken away when you don’t expect it” – Edge On Christian’s Return

During a recent interview with CBS Sports, Men’s Royal Rumble 2021 winner Edge was asked about his reaction to his best friend, former World Heavyweight Champion Christian, making an in-ring return during the Royal Rumble match this past Sunday.

Here’s what the Rated-R Superstar said:

Christian tweeted the following after his Royal Rumble appearance:

“The feedback from the fans has been amazing & the comments from my peers is humbling. I just want to say thanks & I’m SO happy that stepping back in the ring at the Royal Rumble meant as much to you as it did to me.

If that was it, it was on my own terms. If it wasn’t, then…”
