According to the Wrestling Observer, an impromptu six man tag team match featuring Cruiserweight wrestlers from Raw/205 Live was scheduled to take place on the WrestleMania 33 Kickoff show.
However, the match was cancelled at the last minute due to time constraints.
WrestleMania 33 featured 13 matches (out of which 8 were Championship matches) and became the longest PPV of all time as it ran for 7 hours (2 hours pre-show + 5 hours main show).
With this Cruiserweight tag team match being scrapped from the show, only one match featuring the Cruiserweights took place on the show and it was the opening match for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship between “The King of the Cruiserweights” Neville & Austin Aries.
Neville won this match and retained his Title.
