– AJ Styles returned and said he’s done a lot of things he regrets, and wants to turn his legacy around. Carmelo Hayes interrupted and said that since AJ has been gone, he has been making SmackDown his show. AJ challenged Carmelo to a match, but Carmelo declined. LA Knight interrupted and said if Carmelo can defeat AJ, he will talk to Nick Aldis and get him a match for his United States Championship.

– Bayley announced that she has the chance to reclaim the WWE Women’s Championship in 24 hours and called Nia Jax to the ring, inviting her to bring Tiffany Stratton along. Jax entered with Stratton, telling Bayley to speak her mind. Bayley accused Jax of not appreciating the importance of the Women’s Championship, recalling legends like Molly Holly, Victoria, Trish Stratus, and Lita who elevated the title. She admits Jax’s reign has been dominant but claims only two people can dethrone her: herself and Stratton. Bayley added that Stratton will eventually use her Money In The Bank briefcase to take down Jax when she’s had enough of being disrespected.
Stratton disagreed, insisting she doesn’t need the briefcase to beat Jax. When Jax asked her to clarify, Stratton backed off and demanded Bayley bow to her as the Queen. Bayley refused, and Stratton tried to hit her with the briefcase, but Bayley anticipated the move. Jax attacked Bayley, attempting a senton, but Bayley dodged, grabbed the briefcase, and hit Jax with it. She followed up with a running knee and drapes the Women’s Championship over Jax’s waist. Stratton considered cashing-in her MITB contract, but rethinks it when Jax notices her intentions.
