• SmackDown Star Announces Retirement Of Popular Character
Alexa Bliss has confirmed that her “Dark Alexa” character is now officially retired. The former Women’s Champion aligned with the late Bray Wyatt in 2020, undergoing a major character shift. Although she later turned on him at WrestleMania 37 in 2021, elements of the darker persona continued for some time before gradually fading away.
In a Cameo video sent to a fan, Bliss explained that the character has now been put to rest out of respect for Wyatt and his legacy.
“About Dark Alexa. Look, while I love that it meant something to you, it meant so much to me as well. That chapter is very special and very closely tied with my time with Bray, so out of respect to him and the Wyatts, I like to keep that version of myself exactly where it is.
And for the time, it is retired and untouchable, but I can still be with it. On hard days, remember that even the strongest versions of ourselves are built through the darker moments. You’re allowed to feel it, but don’t let it stay there.”
Bliss has been competing in a Tag Team with Charlotte Flair over the past year, with the duo recently becoming involved in a new rivalry with Fatal Influence.
• The Unknown Has Debuted In WWE (Photo)
With several top NXT stars recently moving up to the main roster, WWE’s developmental brand continues to introduce fresh talent. Six new names debuted on TV this week, while others are being prepared through live events.
During last night’s NXT live event in Lakeland, Florida, recent WWE signee Jessica Bogdanov made her debut under the ring name “The Unknown”. She fell short against Lizzy Rain in her first match.

Bogdanov, a Russian pole dancer, participated in WWE tryouts during SummerSlam 2025 weekend and was officially signed by the company in November.
She brings an impressive athletic background in rhythmic gymnastics and freestyle calisthenics. Bogdanov earned a silver medal in the 5 Balls event and bronze medals in 3 Ribbons + 2 Hoops at the 2011 Pan American Games. She also competed at the 2012 USA Gymnastics Rhythmic Championships and was crowned Freestyle Calisthenics World Champion in 2015.
It is likely that WWE has not yet decided on a permanent ring name for her, and she will receive a proper name once she makes her television debut.
