• The Unknown Has Debuted In WWE (Photo)
With several top NXT stars recently moving up to the main roster, WWE’s developmental brand continues to introduce fresh talent. Six new names debuted on TV this week, while others are being prepared through live events.
During last night’s NXT live event in Lakeland, Florida, recent WWE signee Jessica Bogdanov made her debut under the ring name “The Unknown”. She fell short against Lizzy Rain in her first match.

Bogdanov, a Russian pole dancer, participated in WWE tryouts during SummerSlam 2025 weekend and was officially signed by the company in November.
She brings an impressive athletic background in rhythmic gymnastics and freestyle calisthenics. Bogdanov earned a silver medal in the 5 Balls event and bronze medals in 3 Ribbons + 2 Hoops at the 2011 Pan American Games. She also competed at the 2012 USA Gymnastics Rhythmic Championships and was crowned Freestyle Calisthenics World Champion in 2015.
It is likely that WWE has not yet decided on a permanent ring name for her, and she will receive a proper name once she makes her television debut.
• WWE Accidentally Used SmackDown Star’s AEW Name Last Night (Photo)
WWE ran into an awkward mistake right after Ricky Saints’ SmackDown debut, and fans quickly picked up on it.
WWE posted clips online, but used his old AEW name, Ricky Starks, instead of Ricky Saints. The error showed up in descriptions and social posts, and it didn’t take long for people to notice and call it out.

The mix-up came on the same night Saints made his first big impression on SmackDown. He stepped up to Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes in a non-title match and held his own, even though he didn’t win.
• Real Reason Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods Decided To Leave WWE
Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are set to leave WWE after reaching a mutual agreement with the company, bringing an end to The New Day’s run. Their exit will include the standard 90-day non-compete period, according to Fightful Select.
While the departures came as a surprise internally, there is now more clarity on why it happened. According to the Wrestling Observer, Kingston and Woods were not nearing the end of their contracts, but were asked to shift to new deals under TKO’s structure.
After reviewing the terms, both were not satisfied with what was being offered and chose not to move forward, which led to their release being granted.
The news caught many in WWE off guard, especially since both were seen as long-term fixtures, with Kingston often viewed as a lifer. At the same time, there’s a growing belief within the company that no one is guaranteed that status anymore.
Their exit is also said to be part of a wider push to reduce payroll, with TKO directing WWE to cut costs. Both Kingston and Woods were earning significant money (7 figures), and their departure is part of a larger wave of releases over the past week.
In terms of names, Kingston can still use “Kofi” since it’s his real name, but likely not “Kingston.” Woods won’t be able to use “Xavier Woods,” though he already has “Austin Creed” established outside WWE. The “New Day” name also remains owned by WWE.
The New Day’s longtime rivals, The Usos, tweeted the following about Kofi and Xavier’s departure:
“My boys the
….NEW
….DAY
Love uces”
AEW star MJF also reacted to The New Day’s departure. He wrote the following on his Instagram story:
“It’s a new day…
yes it is.”
